One of the senior most TRS leaders in Telangana and former Deputy Chief Minister T Rajaiah landed in trouble ahead of the assembly elections. An audio of the leader speaking with an unidentified woman went viral on social media and created a sensation in the state political circles.
In the five minute audio, Rajaiah was seen seeking sexual favours and teasing her. Soon after the audio was out, the TRS leader's followers started counter attack that Rajaiah's political rivals are deliberately maligning the character of the leader to reduce the chances of getting party ticket. His name has been announced as TRS candidate from Station Ghanpur assembly constituency.
In fact, Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari has been trying hard to get the TRS ticket for his daughter to contest from the assembly segment. Rajaiah is not ready to give up the assembly where he hold strong political grip. Srihari replaced Rajaiah as deputy chief minister in 2015. KCR removed Rajaiah from the minister post after receiving corruption allegation complaints.
