Shocked to Read about his Resignation: KTR

'This morning, I was shocked to read the resignation news of civil aviation minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju. Politics are totally unpredictable and one should be ready to face anything in the journey,' said IT Minister of Telangana, KTR during his speech at Wings India-2018 meet in Begumpet, Hyderabad today.

After inaugurating the aircraft exhibition in Hyderabad, KTR delivered the Chief guest speech at Wings India meet, to which Ashok Gajapathi Raju was supposed to be the Chief guest as civil aviation minister. In his absence, KTR played the role of 'chief guest' and hailed the honorable Central Minister for his phenomenal work in his 3+ years of tenure.

'As per the statistics, this nation had 70 airports in last 70 years, but Ashok Gajpathi Raju and his team worked to add 50-60 new airports in last 3 years. That deserves a round of applause from all our side and my compliments to him & his entire team for doing some stellar work and making sure that Indian aviation industry grows and continue to prosper,' said Telangana IT Minister.

The TDP missed the event as he was preparing to submit resignation after his party boss Chandrababu Naidu directed him to do so, after centre denied Special Category Status to AP. On other hand, news are emerging that both Sujana Chowdary and Ashok Gajpathi Raju have stepped down as cabinet ministers on Thursday evening.
